Megan Weitz

My name is Megan Weitz and I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities. I started my volleyball career as a middle blocker in the 6th grade, playing my first year of club volleyball in the 8th grade. I went to Richland High School and was a multiple sport athlete lettering in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. After my graduation in 2005 I went on to continue my love for volleyball at Columbia Basin College where I was named a Junior College All-American my Sophomore year. I then accepted a full ride scholarship to Eastern New Mexico University where I finished my volleyball career and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education in 2009.

After college and a year’s adventure to Ohio, I moved back to the Tri-Cities in 2010 and began my coaching career in volleyball for Richland High School’s sophomore “C” team. I coached my first year of club volleyball in 2012 for Club Gold Volleyball. Outside of volleyball my career is  in the field of Human Resources.

As the oldest of five I learned the importance of leadership and teamwork at a young age. I attribute my successes to that and a quote that has stuck with me since my freshman year of high school…”No Regrets!”

This club season I am excited to work with athletes who are eager to learn, play as a team, and compete!
