Shanell Stevens

I was born and raised in Richland.

I began playing volleyball at Carmichael middle school, A team 1992-1994.

I went on to play for Richland High School from 1994-1997, I loved playing volleyball & being part of a team!

My passion for volleyball continued as I assistant coached the Freshmen team at Richland High in 1998.

I played volleyball while at college, but just at the intramural level, which was awesome! (Playing co-ed brought a whole new level to the game for me.)

Over the years I’ve continued to play whenever I can, but my love for the game has evolved and taken me into coaching volleyball.

My favorite thing about coaching, is watching the girls learn the skills necessary to play the game, develop those skills, & keep coming back for more!  I love teaching the girls a game that I love and watching them develop a passion & love for the game as well!
