Hi, my name is Yajaira Meraz. I was born and raised in Tri-Cities. I graduated from Kamiakin High School in 2021 and have decided to take a chance at coaching. My first time touching a volleyball was in 7th grade at Desert Hills Middle School. I began playing for Club Gold was I was 15 on the U16 team with head coach Allie Larson. My U16 year was probably one of the best club experiences I’ve ever had. During 2017-2019 I played for Kamiakin High school and played on varsity my junior and senior years. Through my experiences at Club Gold and Kamiakin, I was able to achieve 1st team all-conference as a setter. I know that without Club Gold and what my coaches have taught me, I would not have been able to achieve the accomplishments I have. 

I recently started coaching for Sandstorm Beach Volleyball Club and cannot wait to continue to improve my coaching skills at Club Gold. I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to help coach for Club Gold this season!
